The Board of Directors is elected at the Annual General Meeting.
Committees may be appointed by the Board to assist in the day to day
running of the various functions of VASA and can be changed at any time.
The AGM is held around June each year in different cities, and in convention years, is held
in conjunction with the convention.

In August 2007, as a result of several years of negotiations, the members of the Australian Association of Automotive Electricians (AAAE)
voted to wind up the company and transfer all operations and assets to VASA, to achieve economies of scale and therefore provide
a wider range of services to members.

VASA now stands for The Mobile AC, Electrical and Cooling Technicians of Australasia
