Bitzer tech roadshow to tackle emerging refrigerant landscape

BITZER, known for making compressors, engineered refrigeration systems, pressure vessels and air-conditioning solutions is holding free technical seminars in Auckland, Melbourne and Sydney during the first week of July about how technology is responding to new refrigerants that are sweeping the entire global HVAC&R industry.

In addition to regular presentations on new product developments, the 2017 events will include presentations by Michael Bennett (Refrigerant Reclaim Australia), John Bowen (Refrigerant Recovery New Zealand) and John McCormack (Sythree, the local representative of Chemours).

All three, plus Bitzer chief technology officer Rainer Große-Kracht, will also participate in a panel-style question and answer session.

Bitzer Australia marketing and business development manager René Le Miere said the company always aims to make its biannual seminar roadshow “reflective of both Bitzer and the wider industry”.

“In particular, this year we’re reaching out to encourage trainees and apprentices to come along. This isn’t an elitist event – the whole idea is to bring all levels of our industry together and learn from each other,” he said.

“It’s an afternoon to learn something new, catch up with colleagues over a coffee, check out displays from some of our key suppliers, and with the addition of the interactive Q&A panel, get involved in the conversation.”
