Video: Sneak preview of Autocare Sydney 2018

ATTENDEES to Autocare 2018 Convention will learn about worldwide efforts to support consumer choice and fair competition in the automotive aftermarket, and be provided with some tactics for dealing with anti-competitive behaviour.

The Australian Automotive Aftermarket Association’s government relations manager, Lesley Yates, will be joined by United States Autocare Association senior vice-president of regulatory and government affairs Aaron Lowe and provides a preview of the topics to be discussed in the video below.

Autocare will be held on May 4 and 5, 2018 at the new International Convention Centre next to Darling Harbour in Sydney.

Entry to the trade display area is free for active members of the automotive industry, with access to the mechanical repair and collision repair education programs subject to a temporary early bird discount priced at $110 for a single day or $200 for a two-day pass (normally $135 and $240). The supply chain education program is also currently discounted at $275 for one day and $440 for both days (normally $320 and $505).

VASA’S ‘Life After R134a’ refrigerant seminar, delivered by Vice President Brett Meads, will form part of the mechanical repair education program at 4 pm on May 4 and the association will also have a booth in the trade display area of the convention.
